Anchors Workshop - (8 hours) Introduction to basic anchor-building for top-rope climbing. Natural and artificial anchors introduced.
Via Rock - (2 days) Ready to take your climbing to the next level? The Via Rock program is an opportunity to transition from single-pitch top-roping to the "exposure" of multi-pitch climbing.
Day 1 - Via Ferrata - You will climb iron rungs in a rock face, while transferring from belay cable to belay cable and attaining over 800 feet of elevation. All of this will be done under the supervision of an expert guide, and will be taken at your own pace. We'll unwind around a campfire later that evening...
Day 2 - Multi-pitch Trad Clinic - In the morning you will wake up early and take part in an intensive traditional lead climbing techniques clini, working on gear placement, anchor-building and belay techniques. Later that afternoon, you will break up into teams of 3 to climb an easy multi-pitch route on Seneca Rocks. This is one adventure you won't soon forget!
